Drug Addiction Counselling
Structured, compassionate counselling for substance use: understanding triggers, preventing relapse and rebuilding daily life, alongside medical care where withdrawal needs it.
What we can work on together
- An honest, non-judgemental look at your substance use and its effects
- Understanding the triggers, feelings and situations that lead to use
- Relapse-prevention skills and a personal plan for high-risk moments
- Rebuilding routines, relationships and trust
- Support for family members affected by a loved one's use
Stopping some substances suddenly, including alcohol and some medicines, can be dangerous. If you are physically dependent, withdrawal should be overseen by a doctor or a treatment centre; counselling works alongside that.
How sessions work
Sessions last 60 minutes, and the first 20 minutes are free, so you can see whether working together feels right before committing to anything. You can come in person to MIND CARE in New Eskaton, Dhaka, or meet online by Zoom or Google Meet from anywhere in Bangladesh.
Everything you share is kept strictly confidential. The first conversation is about understanding what is happening for you and what you would like to change; together we then decide on a plan that fits.
